Governor conference call with President Trump and staff with all the Governors about tonight’s press conference at 6 pm about the reopening of the country. This will be a phased approach, and details will be specific to the states and cities, in how they are going to be reopening the country, businesses and public activity for the country, these details will be shared on tonight’s press conference.
Governor Newsom signed another Executive Order for food workers that will give them an additional 2 weeks of coverage for farm and fast-food workers who may have been impacted by the Coronavirus. Special thanks to the Grocery industry at large for picking and packing our food, delivery personnel, fast food workers, which is to protect them throughout this crisis. All Grocery workers should be protected throughout this current situation and keeping them safe as they work with the public every day. The framework has been laid out for safety measures to protect the workers.

The number in ICU 1191 to date, those Hospitalized are 3,141 and showing a modest decline today. Serve CA Gov volunteer website continues to have people and businesses volunteer to help.
